VISIA Skin Analysis
"In our consultations, we listen to your goals and desires and develop a treatment regimen to help you get the body and confidence you deserve."

Clear Communication, Precise Treatments
The VISIA machine uses three images of your face and skin. The first includes daylight lighting conditions, the second with glare-reducing polarization, and the third with UV light. Then, Dr. Riolo examines these three images to identify conditions and issues beneath your skin.
Once a VISIA skin analysis is completed, a personalized skin report is generated that includes skin pigmentation measurements, pore size, and evidence of porphyrins (bacteria in your pores), and other data.
Using this information, we develop a treatment plan that will help you achieve the body you want and the confidence you deserve.
There are five main areas that are assessed in a skin analysis using the VISIA skin assessment technology. The first is UV spots, which indicate hidden sun damage and melanin coagulation that are invisible to the naked eye.
Next are porphyrins, which are bacteria that can clog your pores and cause acne. Wrinkles and enlarged pores are also assessed within a VISIA skin analysis. Although some wrinkles can be detected by any casual observer, VISIA’s technology uses comparative data from others within your age group and helps our staff make recommendations to improve your skin health.
Spots, lesions, freckles, and other issues relating to skin tone and color are also included within VISIA’s assessment system.
